Biography and reference links

Yahweh is the ancient Semitic war and thunder deity from the southeastern ancient Levant. Yahweh was the son of the Canaanite god El and his consort, Asherah. Yahweh and El later became combined so that Yahweh’s consort was Asherah, and El became an epithet for Yahweh. Later, Asherah was removed from Yahweh worship, later becoming the god of all Abrahamic mythologies, including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Bahá’í, Samaritanism, and Druze faiths.
